Frequently asked questions

"I Want Articles" is about connecting people who need Articles (Requesters) with people who enjoy writing Articles (Writers).

How do I know if I am an Requester or Writer?

After you register, you can be an Requester by starting a Campaign to have Articles written for you by others. If you wish to earn money, you can start by selecting a "Article job", writing an Article and get paid. You can be both at the same time - a Requested and Writer!

Accepting an Article job

A Writer is allowed to accept a job only if he/she can write a good Article that will satisfy requirements set by Requester. Your grammar and english must be good. If you think you cannot write a good Article, don't accept that job. Accepting a job and submitting bad quality Article will raise a red flag. In most cases 3 red flags lead to account termination.

Requesters

Requesters are people who need Articles.
Requesters start new campaigns and look for Writers.
Requesters review Articles written and pay Writers.

Guidelines for Requesters

Requesters should comply with our guidelines:

  1. A Campaign - Article request - must be well described and  understandable.
  2. Requesters should understand that each Campaign is basically an Article request offered to a number of people.
  3. When reviewing Articles submitted by Writers, Requesters should use fair judgement; if submitted Article is finished as required, Requesters must mark such task as "Satisfied". If an Article did not satisfy requirements, Requesters must mark such task as "Not Satisfied".
  4. Requesters will only pay for Articles that satisfied requirements ("Satisfied"). "I Want Articles" does not charge any money of fees for tasks that did not meet requirements set by Requesters.
  5. Requesters should expect that Articles submitted are unique and written especially for them.
  6. If Requester is 100% that Article is not unique work by Writer, this should be reported immediately. We will not tolerate any Writers that would copy part of Article from other sources.
Campaigns guidelines

Campaigns could also be referred to as "jobs". Every Campaign consist of requirements, how many Writers are needed (positions) and amount Writers will earn. When Writers accept a job they will have to submit an Article that they just wrote.

  • PayPal

We only charge you for tasks you rate Satisfied.

Writers

Writers are people who can write good Articles.
Writers accept jobs and write Articles.
Writers get paid.

Guidelines for Writers

Writers must follow strict rules:

  1. Every Writer should only create and use one account.
  2. Writers should only accept jobs they are capable of finish. If you think you cannot deliver results, don't accept that job! Accepting a job and submitting bad quality Article will raise a red flag. In most cases 3 red flags lead to account termination.
  3. Writers must make sure to write unique articles - you should not copy article or its parts from other sources. Our Requesters check articles with Copyscape.com and other tools. If your Article appears stolen, Requesters will report that and we will terminate Writer's account. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
  4. We have also implemented automated success rate monitoring. Writers must maintain certain level of success rate over all times. Too many Not-Satisfied tasks will affect success rate. If the rate goes below certain %, Writer will not be able to submit tasks for certain period of time.
  5. Once Writer submits an Article (task), task will appear in the list "Tasks I finished". Tasks not yet rated by Campaign owners (Requesters) have a gray icon. Tasks rated with "Satisfied" appear with green icon. Tasks rated with "Not Satisfied" will display a red icon.
  6. Writers will automatically get paid for tasks rated as "Satisfied". Money will be deposited into Writer's account as soon as Requester rates submitted task. If Requester forgets to rate tasks, they will be automatically closed by the system (in {{AUTOCLOSE_H}} hours), rated "Satisfied". No task will remain open for a long period of time.
Writers - PIN, one account, termination

We take spam & scam very seriously and we fight against it! In order to protect Requesters we will not tolerate any action or any activity that could harm Employers' satisfaction.

All our members must provide their Full name and current mailing address. The reason is that we will send a PIN number to every Writer - PIN is sent to HOME address (not to email address). Writers will not be able to withdraw money until they receive a PIN number and enter it into the system. This means that all Writers are VERIFIED. PIN number will arrive in 5-25 days depending on your location.

We at "I Want Articles" have implemented many controls that allow us to screen everything going on in the system. We will do our best to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Users whose accounts were terminated (for any reason) will not be able to participate anymore.

I'm a Writer - How and when do I get paid?

Writers get paid when their Requester rates the Article submitted as "Satisfied". When a Writers logs into their account, they can check the status of various Articles (tasks) they have submitted. If a task is marked "Not Satisfied" by the Requester, you (the Writer) will not get paid. If a task is marked "Satisfied" you will get paid.

Payouts - withdrawals

Writers can withdraw earned money through several different methods: PayPal, Check, Moneybookers and Alertpay. After you have requested a payout, it takes up to 30 business days to process your payment. Payout limit is $20.00. Payments are sent via PayPal, Moneybookers or Alertpay. Check delivery can take up to 20 days.
